Knitting

Knitting has always evoked warmth and nostalgia, but for me, it was never part of my world. Growing up in a Southeast Asian household, it felt distant—just another technique to learn. That changed when I took my first knitting class in spring, surrounded by blooming flowers. Inspired, I began collecting them to create a flower bookmark.

As I knitted, my mind wandered to the simple joys of life—like the carefree nature of dogs and cats—only to realize that finding beauty in everyday moments is what truly matters. The story I wrote alongside my project became a lifeline during a difficult time. Knitting, once unfamiliar, became a journey of patience, creativity, and comfort, weaving itself into my life in unexpected ways.
